3rd Semi-Annual SCOCA Coastal Cleanup
RAIN... WIND... RAIN...
One for the history books! In the 48 cleanups that David Schwartz has conducted - this was the RAINIEST by FAR!
The Santa Cruz Ocean Conservation Alliance conducted it's 3rd semi-annual Corcoran Lagoon & Coastal Cleanup on May 4, 2024. The third in the series, and 48th for David Schwartz, retired Cabrillo College oceanography professor and current COI Education Director.
The RAIN was a deterrent for many but we still had 20 AMAZING people who braved the elements and prevented 100lbs of trash from making its way into the ocean!
Our Fall 2024 Cleanup is tentatively planned for November 9, 2024 - stay tuned for updates!
