Tabling with Rising Appalachia at the Catalyst, Santa Cruz, Oct 2017

Clean Oceans International was invited by the music group, Rising Appalachia, to table at their show at the Catalyst in Santa Cruz, CA in October 2017. This was a continuation of our involvement with the group after a successful community beach cleanup on the coast of Oregon in 2016. With music goers there to dance and groove, COI spoke to the public about our programs and the pressing issue of  marine plastic pollution. Community engagement opportunities such as this are integral to COI and we always look forward to the next opportunity!
